This game by Play’n Go is built around the cascading reels engine which is where all the action takes place as it allows players to win consecutively with each spin. With every win made, the Quantum Leap metre changes which then paves the way from another 5 bonus features. Finally, there are also 2 other features that can be triggered right from the get-go as they’re part of the base game. Below, we’ll dive into the 9 different bonus features.

Cascading Reels feature

Thanks to the Cascading Reels feature, symbols drop down into the 7×7 playing field allowing players to make winning combos with 5+ of the same symbol. These are connected in a cluster which basically means they can form winning combinations both horizontally or vertically. When making a win, the contributing symbols are removed with new symbols dropping to fill up the empty spaces on the playing field. The Cascades continue as long as wins are made.

Quantum Leap features

With wins, the 5 Quantum Leap charge metres 1 by 1. When a metre is charged, 1 of the quantum features is added to the queue, this happens randomly.

• Implosion Feature: 3-6 symbols are transformed into wilds which will see adjacent symbols being destroyed as well.
• Alteration Feature: 1 random low value symbol is chosen with all instances of that symbol transforming into another symbol. If there’s no low value symbol found on the playing field, a premium alien will be picked instead.
• Demotion Feature: low value symbols are destroyed and removed.
• Incision Feature: puts a wild symbol at the centre of the playing field, after which it places matching symbols across the diagonal lines. This can lead to new winning combinations.

When all 5 charge metres are charged, the Gargantoon feature is added to the queue. Here, the Gargantoon adds a 3×3 wild randomly on the playing field. With each cascade, the Gargantoon will divide after which it turns into two 2×2 wilds. With the next cascade, the same process will repeat itself leading to nine 1×1 wilds. If no winning combinations are made, 1 quantum feature is randomly activated. Whilst playing, the charge metres get charged, giving you the chance to get even more quantum features. It will only reset if no more winning combinations are formed.

Instability Feature

During the Instability Feature, the Gargantoon can randomly drop 4-8 wild symbols onto the playing field. This happens during non-winning spins.

Giantoonz Feature

Reactoonz comes with the Giantoonz feature which is triggered when 4 matching symbols appear adjacent to each other in a square shape (that is: 2×2). This combination will lead to the Giantoonz feature, doubling wins, during any winning combination.

Fluctuation Feature

The Fluctuation feature is basically a feature that marks one random low-value symbol as the fluctuating symbol on each spin. When part of a winning combo, it will come with 2 wilds that will be left behind on the playing field.

Reactoonz Symbols

Reactoonz is all about a bunch of funny looking aliens which is why there are 8 alien symbols on the playing field, offering rewards for landing between 5 and 15 symbols in a cluster on the reels. There are no special symbols triggering bonuses. Symbols include 4 low value aliens, 4 high value aliens; these all have different colours. The most valuable symbol is the pink alien that awards the player with payouts of 750x the bet for 5 symbols on a payline.
